Nominations are now being accepted for a position on the Marching Mizzou Alumni Band Board of Directors for a term beginning January 1, 2022. If you are interested in nominating someone or if you wish to self-nominate, everyone being nominated must fill out a BACKGROUND INFORMATION FORM located here.This form must be received by 11:59 pm on August 31. No one can appear on the ballot without submitting the information form by the above deadline.
The only requirements for serving on the Board are:
must have been a member of Marching Mizzou for at least one semester, and
must have an interest in the University of Missouri, the University’s School of Music, and Marching Mizzou.
The election will take place during online registration for Homecoming. Everyone who registers and pays their activity fee for Homecoming 2022 will receive a private link to the ballot. The person(s) receiving the highest number of votes shall be elected Directors according to the number of positions to be filled. For example, if there are 3 vacancies to be filled, the top 3 vote-getters will be elected. In the event of a tie, the person who submitted his/her information form first shall be elected.
